Pluton Karas, a self-described sub-atomic particle, has included a photo of my Second Life avatar, Bill Friis, in his blog account of StormEye, a new work of art hanging 500 meters above the NMC Aho museum. If you have access to this virtual world, it is a site worth seeing which Pluton will tell you more about.

Dear Bill,
Thanks for the mention, and for posing with me for the pic. I see you are an educator. I have been deeply impressed by the opportunities Second Life gives all of us to both provide and gain new information and experiences.
I look forward to exploring more about you and the work you do in Second Life, and how this relates to real life applications. For now, I've got a rocket building competition to cover. Take care.
Sincerely,
Pluton Karas
Dear Bill,
I just visited ISTE in Second Life and watched a video showcasing your story as an educator in SL. When I saw you I said to myself "I've seen that man before..." But, I could not place you. However, a few seconds after seeing your avatar I realized it was you!
I wonder where you'll turn up next?
Take care,
Pluton Karas
